The challenge is for companies to become more organized—to make sense of data and information, to understand where the gaps are, and to have the capacity to use it effectively.

Today I’m going to focus on the second of those two elements, how companies can make sense of and use information. I’ll start with the data and information problem.

Companies have to be able to do more than just what they are supposed to do. This is the reason why the software industry is so highly fragmented. By focusing on these two components, companies can be making a huge difference which can have a big effect on your business.
