It is difficult to know whether to prescribe a general practitioner for medication, or to prescribe a psychiatrist for this particular disorder. I do not know if this is because it is best for the patient to take a different approach to self-awareness. I do know that I have never been a fan of psychiatrists and I think it is best not to try and impose your beliefs onto them.
