Thats probably how you feel, but it might not be just another case of you being alone. A recent study in the journal PNAS found that people who are sleep deprived tend to feel more lonely, and more likely to feel depressed, compared to people who are not sleep deprived.

Melatonin has also been shown to cause a variety of other problems and even cause death. In fact, it appears to be linked to a number of other health conditions such as depression, high blood pressure, and a heart attack.
It’s been speculated that a sleep deprivation-related sleep disorder has actually been linked to depression. I’m not saying it’s not, it’s just that I’m not convinced.
